I am horrible at coming up with Halloween costume ideas and I'm not that
crafty, so we opted for store-bought costumes this year. Thankfully
the store still had some despite our last minute purchases. When we
asked Emerson what he wanted to dress up like he said a pig but we
couldn't find a pig costume, instead we found a cute elephant one.
Emerson was excited about it. There was a giraffe costume that looked
like it would fit Christian so we got it, unsurprisingly he looks
adorable in it. So our unplanned theme turned out to be Zoo Animals.
I had to keep explaining to Emerson that Halloween was a day not a place. He kept saying, "My want to go to Halloween Mommy."
In addition to our ward Trunk or Treat,
Emerson went Trick or Treating with his cousin Sadie and friend Gracie
in Sadie's neighborhood. He had fun and would walk up to the houses,
knock on the door, get candy, then walk to the next house with no
hesitations. He was focused on getting more "treats."

| Sadie the Ballerina and Emerson the Elephant with their "Munkins!" (that's how Emerson says it) |

| Savannah the Butterfly and Christian the Giraffe stayed home instead of Trick or Treating...until next year! |

I'm thinking I should go get next years Halloween costumes now when they're on sale so I'll be prepared. So far Emerson seems satisfied with his 2 Halloween treats a day, but it's only been one day!
